Jack Maxwell, sculptor and design professor at ACU said, "I'm drawn to nature. I thought it would be interesting to create a worship space that wasn't in a building."

This garden is over-the-top spectacular and wonderfully maintained. They say it is one of the most photographed sites in Abilene and because of its stunning views and the quality of care the school provides, it is a great place for photos, weddings, baptism, and of course, communing with our God.

Maintenance is a huge factor in appeal and usability. Gardens need to be designed for easy care, and then that care must be administered on a regular schedule. Jacob's Dream is a beautiful example of a well cared for space.
